Overview

Muktinath yatra is a holy and spiritual tour that takes you to Muktinath temple in Mustang and Manang region. This temple is at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is sacred for Hindus and Buddhist devotees. The temple is the abode of Lord Vishnu incarnated as Muktinath. The temple means “place of liberation or moksha”.

There are many fascinating stops to the remote undisturbed valley such as gorge of Kaligandaki, Monastery, 108 water spouts also known as Muktidhara, the eternal flame of Jwala Mai temple in the vicinity of the routes to Muktinath. You also get to sight-seen a vivacious lakeside Country called Pokhara on the way back from temple visit.

In Pokhara you will be given a tour to Davis fall, Bindhyabasini temple, Seti river gorge, Gupteshwor cave, Barahi temple, Phewa lake and taken to a hill station called Sarangkot to observe the snow clad peaks of Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna and driven back to Kathmandu and head back home. Itinerary

Day: 01 Arrival in Kathmandu Airport

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by guide or our office representative and transferred to the hotel. Then you will have brief orientation or presentation about your respective trek. After all you will go for a stroll down the street to get familiar with the neighborhood, have supper and go to bed. This is your first overnight in the valley of temples, varieties of ethics and their cultures, different test of delicious food and mystery of history ,within circle of green hill probably the most in the world. Day: 02 Sightseeing around Kathmandu and drive to Pokhara ,- 7 hours)

Today you go on a half day sightseeing to UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu. The holy hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Buddhist temples Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. Then we take you on a long drive to arrive at a hotel in Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day: 03 Fly to Jomsom (25min.) and drive to Muktinath temple (3800m)

Today we catch a short flight and arrive at Jomsom airport. There is a jeep waiting for you to drive you to Muktinath from the gorge of Kaligandaki, monastery and barren landscapes of Kagbeni to Ranipauwa and visit Muktinath temple. You will see Muktidhara, jwala mai temple then drive back to Jomsom by a jeep ride.Overnight at Jomsom hotel.

Day: 04 Fly to Pokhara and sightseeing activities

Today you arrive at Jomsom airport and catch a short flight to Pokhara. At Pokhara we take you on a guided tour to see the landmarks, lakes , waterfallS, Barahi and Bindhyabasini temple. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day: 05 Drive back to Kathmandu ,- 7 hours

Today we drive to Kathmandu and arrive at Sarangkot hill to see the snowy peaks from above hill station and take you to a hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast and our last day in Kathmandu, our vehicle and escorts will be on standby to drop you to the international airport three hours before our scheduled flight back home.
