Overview

Gosainkunda lake tour is a popular tea house trek to the holy Gosainkunda lake at an altitude of 4380m. This trek also gives the stunning views of Mountain ranges like Langtang Lirung (7234 m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Loenpo Gang (6979m), Changbu(6781m) etc. Gosainkunda lake tour offer beautiful view of 108 freshwater lakes. High up in the Himalayan lap sits the Gosaikunda lake. Religious belief about this lake was Lord Shiva drank the water from this lake after drinking poison extracted from the ocean. The Trishuli river also originates from where Lord Shiva struck with his trident.

Itinerary

Day: 01 Arrive in Kathmandu

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by guide or our office representative and transferred to the hotel. Then you will have brief orientation or presentation about your respective trek. After all you will go for a stroll down the street to get familiar with the neighborhood, have supper and go to bed. This is your first overnight in the valley of temples, varieties of ethics and their cultures, different test of delicious food and mystery of history ,within circle of green hill probably the most in the world. Day: 02 Drive to Dhunche

Today we pick you up from the hotel and take a private vehicle by road to Dhunche along ring road side, Raniban, Kakani, Ranipauwa and Battar bazaar at Trishuli. Then pass through the check post to arrive at Dhunche. Overnight in Dhunche.

Day: 03 Dhunche to Singgompa

Today you walk to ascend Ghatte khola and cross the suspension bridge and walk through pine and oak forest to arrive at Sing Gompa. Overnight in Sing Gompa.

Day: 04 Singgompa to Gosainkunda lake

Today we have to climb up for 1000 meters on a steep path to make way to arrive at the holy Gosaikunda lake. The holy water can eradicate from sin by taking a dip in the waters. Overnight in Gosaikunda.

Day: 05 Gosainkunda to Tharepati by crossing Laurebina pass (4600m ),- 6 hours

Today you cross the Laurebina Pass (4609m) and trek to Ghopte. Then through zigzag sections you arrive at Tharepati. Overnight in Tharepati.

Day: 06 Tharepati to Kutumsang

Today walking downhill on a forested path and routes from the ridge you arrive at Kutumsang village. Overnight in Kutumsang.

Day: 07 Kutumsang to Chisapani

Today you trek to a beautiful village with breathtaking views at Chisapani on the top of a ridge. Overnight in Chisapani.

Day: 08 Trek to Sundarijal (1350m),3-4 hrs and drive to Kathmandu

Today heading down the path of oak and pine forest we come to the reservoir of water supply in Sundarijal. We say goodbye to trekking staff and drive on a motor-able road to Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast and our last day in Kathmandu, our vehicle and escorts will be on standby to drop you to the international airport three hours before our scheduled flight back home.
