Paragliding
In Nepal, Paragliding is a recreational outdoor adventure that gives aerial view of forest, villages, lakes of the Pokhara valley and the mountain while flying below the sky. This exhilarating ride for thirty to forty minutes with the whirlwind views of Mountains like Mt Macchhapucchre, Annapurna, Lamjung himal, Hiunchuli on a pilot flight from the craft that pivots in the air like a bird soaring in the sky. These precious movements are done with utmost safety and precaution by the guide. You can enjoy two forms of rides. First is called Cloud buster. This is the regular flight that lasts for 30 minutes gliding up in the air and costs USD 70. Another one is the cross-country flight that lasts for 60 minutes of paragliding in the air and costs USD 110. Best season for Paragliding in Nepal at Pokhara lakeside is from October through April. You can take off the flight after arriving at Sarangkot. Both pilot and passenger are fixed with harnesses to give comfort and safety attached to the seats. After the takeoff, passengers at the back can enjoy the zip flight across the sky, soaring with the winds and getting beautiful views of Mountains, valleys, forest and lakes below. Booking can be made two or three days in advance of the day for flight.
